The Engage, Learn, Grow (ELG) Program is a comprehensive professional development initiative that focuses on improving learning and development in Fort Bend Independent School District and eventually expanding to different job market sectors, requiring their employees to undergo training to align with organizational goals and trends. By utilizing cutting-edge technology and thoughtfully chosen digital tools, the program aims to provide a comprehensive and practical learning experience that assists individuals in growing and developing their skills. This program encourages ongoing learning and development through workshops that promote active learning, steering clear of the typical “sit and get” training.

Project Goal
Through designed learning experiences.
Goal 1: To enhance the abilities and understanding of the participants in crucial areas identified during the needs assessment process. The expectation is to improve their work performance and job satisfaction through digital tools.
Goal 2: To foster a collaborative, innovative, and lifelong learning culture among adult learners through networking and designing active learning experiences.
Goal 3: Establish long-term practices for ongoing professional development support and a road map for future initiatives aligned with organizational goals and trends.

Partnerships

Effectively engage and garner the buy-in, support, and resources of internal stakeholders and the leadership team to implement the Engage, Learn, Grow Program successfully.
