COVA FRAMEWORK

As I analyze the COVA learning approach and its potential impact on my journey through the Ed Tech/ADL program, I cannot help but feel confident about the opportunities it presents. Having more control, ownership, and voice over my education is empowering. I have been given the keys to unlock my potential and take charge of my academic aspirations.

The COVA model addresses the limitations of traditional didactic teaching methods. The idea of breaking free from passive learning and actively shaping my own educational experience feels exceptionally empowering. This approach has the potential to truly revolutionize the way I learn and grow as a student. I am excited to adopt the COVA approach, but taking complete responsibility for my learning will take work. It can be overwhelming to make decisions and choose from the numerous options with this level of autonomy. However, it is a chance for personal growth.

The COVA learning approach presents limitless possibilities for my growth and development. With the freedom to explore topics of my choosing, the ability to showcase my unique voice through my ePortfolio, and access to a wealth of resources to support my perspective, I am excited to embark on this journey of discovery. I am eager to incorporate various forms of content, such as videos and media, to elevate my learning experience to new heights. In order to effectively embody a sense of learner agency within this approach, I am cognizant of the importance of taking full responsibility for my learning, setting clear and attainable goals, making well-informed decisions, and reflecting regularly on my progress. I am firmly committed to embracing this mindset and actively collaborating with my educators to ensure I achieve my full potential.
